Hi, I'm Stephanie.
I'm a Filipina/ Peruvian general creative based in Virginia.
DelaPalma is a cross from my last name (Dela) and from the hand/palm (Palma).
Everything is made by my hands, my brain, my heart too. My current concepts for my artworks are going to raise awareness for causes that aren't explained enough or are often sugarcoated. They mostly come from personal experience and stories told by people around me. It's like-for me- a personal scroll through Twitter, sighing at every frustrating post about someone's misfortunes.
I make a rainbow look depressing.

The majority if work out there is meant to please the public. I would rather shove their face into my pessimism. I draw, sculpt, and paint whatever strikes exhausting amounts of emotions within me. I want people to actually give a sh!t about art. Feel free to talk about how it disappoints you or how it also makes you angry.

Almost everyone is now coping with comedy, but are they really comedic if they are a cry for help? Every day I scroll through loads of issues that hde underneath silly content. How about you walk in the shoes you mock, where is your smile now?
